“When my business started leaking, I was very nervous that I would have to replace the entire roof but Sky City came out and assessed my roof and fixed the leak. They were very cost effective and with little preventative maintenance they extended the life of my roof. It has been 5 years and still no issues! “

Roofing Tips

In order to maintain the longevity of your roofing system, we caution against using your roof as additional space for outdoor furniture or storage. Roofs are not typically designed to withstand repeated force like foot traffic, this kind of regular wear and tear could significantly reduce the waterproof properties of your roof.

In addition to regular roof inspections, we encourage you to consider the following:

  • Aluminum coatings to protect your roof from the harmful effects of UV radiation
  • Refilling pitch boxes to maintain their seal
  • Airing out and repairing membrane blisters
  • Repairing splits, cracks, and wet insulation immediately before they spread
  • Bi-Annual roof check-ups and inspections. Minimum Once a year
